About Hotel of Ice...
Although at first, for many it was a crazy idea at which they looked with a lot of skepticism and mistrust, the fact that someone was ambitious enough to use nature in own advantage, to transform it without destroy it, has led to the unique Hotel of Ice in Eastern Europe. So, from 2005 in every winter the Hotel of Ice is rebuilt from the materials offered by nature: huge blocks of ice that are cut and removed directly from the Balea Lake are used to raise the walls and the snow which is gathered across the mountain slope, is used for fixing the ice bricks and for finishing the walls.
This winter season, Winter Park will offer a series of activities as: ski, snowboarding and tubing on natural slopes, snowmobiling, sleighing. There will be organized a lot of fun games with prizes, as: snowballs fights, the biggest snow man, ice bowling
